Information Collection and Use
All About Habits collects your name and email in the sign-up form when you sign up to receive an email newsletter or a free guide or when you register for one of our programs.
When you purchase a Program via All About Habits, this site collects your name, email address, and billing address. Your credit card number is directly passed through to one of All About Habits’ credit card processors, Stripe or PayPal, and (at the most) All About Habits has access to only the last four digits of your credit card.
All About Habits collects non-identifiable personal information using “cookies.” A cookie is a small data file that a website can transfer to your hard drive through your browser. The cookie is then stored on your computer as an anonymous tag that identifies your computer, but not you. You can set your browser to notify you if cookies are received, or set up your browser to not accept cookies.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that is commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Our website uses these “cookies” to collect information and to improve our Service. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
How Does All About Habits Use Your Information?
All About Habits may use your name and email to contact you about your Program and to send you occasional business announcements and updates. All About Habits uses your billing address to process your transaction.
We want to inform you that whenever you visit our Service, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
How do you Unsubscribe?
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can opt-out or unsubscribe by clicking on the link in any email All About Habits sends to you. Note: if you opt-out of receiving the emails of a Program, it will be difficult for you to continue to participate.
How does All About Habits protect your information?
All About Habits uses various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your data on a secure server and/or a third-party password-protected, secure service. Any third-party secure service All About Habits uses to host your data will keep your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly. All About Habits uses a secure, PCI-compliant payment processor (Stripe or PayPal, at your choice) to process any credit card payments, as described above. If you choose to use PayPal to pay for a purchase, they hold your credit card and/or bank information per their agreement with you. If your credit card number or expiration date is updated, your bank may update Stripe or PayPal automatically to process future payments; we do not have control over any such updates.
All About Habits will also release your information as required by law or if necessary to protect All About Habits’ legal rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order, to prevent threats to others or illegal activities, or to prevent abuse of allabouthabits.com.
Circumstances may arise where All About Habits may decide to sell, buy, merge, or otherwise reorganize the business in the United States or elsewhere, or where All About Habits may decide to share, rent, buy, or sell business assets for reorganizing, developing, or expanding the business. It is All About Habits’ policy to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. If the All About Habits assets or the entire company is acquired, then the lists of personally identifiable information and other contact information will likely be one of the assets acquired.
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
